Diagnosis: Toolset
Up to now we have developed a fully engineered solution for diagnosis and replay of FlexRay bus traffic.
Monitoring and replay is either possible in two ways:
- offline by recording/replaying bus traffic to/from a large flash disk
- online by transferring the recorded data to a remote host via a standard Fast-Ethernet connection
Therefore, our diagnosis tools can be roughly divided into
- an embedded FlexRay tester node for monitoring and replay and
- a post-processing and visualization software executing on a remote host PC.
A prototype of the subset of our developed diagnosis toolchain is available from Decomsys under the acronym BUSDOCTOR.
