Polymer Integration
The polymer integration in the context of the Flexicount project addresses the following aspects:
- Finding a proper polymer matrix that allows to embedded the sensor electronics in a way so that the force applied by every individual crossing the mats is properly identifiable.
- Evaluate the effects of the integration onto the sensors and electronics, e.g., how does the polymer matrix impair on the sensor functionality or on the wireless data transmission.
- Optimize the polymer integration to allow for an industrial production of the sensor mats.
To accomplish these aspects we will need to find the proper temperature and pressure characteristics and select the proper material combinations and glue for an integration.
