Michael Ziehensack studied computer technology at the Vienna University of
Technology and business administration at the Vienna University of Economics. He
received a Mag.rer.soc.oec (Master) degree in 1997, a Dipl.-Ing. (Master) degree in 2000 and a Dr.techn. (PhD) degree in 2004. After several
years as technical project manager in different areas of computer technology and his work as research assistant at the Institute of Computer Technology he joined DECOMSYS in 2004.
Since October 2005 he is heading the Automotive Software Team at DECOMSYS which is responsible for the development of the higher layers of the
FlexRay communication stack and the integration of DECOMSYS software components into ECUs of major automotive companies.
Dr. Ziehensack is representing DECOMSYS as active member of the AUTOSAR Gateway Working
Group and document owner of the AUTOSAR PDU Router software specification.
