Markus Eggenbauer was born in 1980 in Vienna, where he enjoyed his education and finally graduated in Electronics at the Technical College TGM Vienna. After finishing the military service in 2000 he was employed at
Robert Bosch AG Vienna developing software for electronic engine control units. Since
2004 he works at DECOMSYS Gmbh where his main job is developing and maintaining
software drivers and layers for the FlexRay real-time communication protocol.
Beside his full-time employment Markus studied Information and Communication Systems and Services at the University of Applied Science Technikum Wien receiving his master degree in 2005.
Currently Markus is engaged in the research project COMPASS which is driven by joint efforts of Distributed Systems Group at the University
of Technology Vienna, Technikum Wien - Embedded Systems Department and DECOMSYS GmbH.
