Florian Rothensteiner was born in 1979 in Vienna. From the year 2000 to 2003 he studied electronics and computer science at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien and worked for the company Decomsys GmbH during his study. In 2003 he joined the Technikum Wien as a staff member and participated in the FIT-IT founded research project STEACS, together with the University of Technology Vienna, the industrial partner Decomsys GmbH and the Research Group Embedded Systems.
Florian Rothensteiner left the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien in 2005.
