Josef Ressel Center "Innovative Platforms for Electronic-Based Systems"
The Josef Ressel Center INES (INnovative Platforms for Electronic-Based Systems) is located at the Department of Electronic Engineering, University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien. Together with the industry partners Elektrobit Austria GmbH, Kapsch TrafficCom AG and Oregano Systems Design & Consulting GmbH the project addresses applied research questions in the field of SoC (System-on-Chip) FPGAs (Field-Programmable Gate Arrays).
This R&D untertaking receives funding from the Austrian Federal Ministry for Digital and Economic Affairs (BM:DW) as well as from the National Foundation for Research, Technology and Development and is managed by the Christian Doppler Society (CDG). We like to thank the company Mils Electronic for financial support by means of scholarship grants that are provided to the participating students and junior researchers.
