About Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Christoph Weiß

Christoph Weiß was born in 1980 in Vienna. After the school leaving examination and the military service he studied electronics at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien and graduated in 2003. During his studies he was part of the project team of the research project "Low Earth Orbit Satellite Communications" from 2001 to 2002. In 2002 he worked as an intern at the Philips National Laboratory in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.

After his graduation he spent two years at Sagem Communications Austria as a firmware developer, specialising in photo print and networking drivers and applications for multifunction printers. In 2005 Christoph Weiß joined the staff of Mass Response, an IVR and TV graphic solutions provider. There he was the main developer of the graphic solutions part, creating applications to enable and facilitate the broadcast of live TV shows.

In 2007 Christoph Weiß joined the Embedded Systems Research Group the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien. He worked as a member of the research project "Debugging of Real Time Systems" and as a teacher. From the beginning of 2010 to the end of 2012, Christoph Weiß was part of the research project "AsTeRICS - Assistive Technology Rapid Integration Construction Set" founded by the European Commission. Afterwards, he was a member of the "Josef Ressel Center for Verification of Embedded Computing Systems", managed by the Christian Doppler Forschungsgesellschaft (CDG). Christoph Weiß left the department in November 2013.
