Rafael Swierczek was born in 1982 in Tarnow, Poland. He was studying Electronics/Embedded Systems at the University of Applied Science Technikum Wien. During his study he was supporting the Automotive Gateway project team as a junior researcher. Afterwards he worked as a full-time employee in the FFG-funded research project COORDES which deals with a new concept to improve test and debugging of distributed embedded systems. Rafael Swierczek left the university in 2011.
