Harald Schuster was born in 1985 in Vienna. After graduating from HTL Mödling (Higher Technical Education Institute) in electrical engineering in 2004 and attending compulsory military service he started his Electronics study at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien, where he obtained a BSc in Engineering in 2008. In 2010 he received a Master degree in Embedded Systems from the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien. During 2008 and 2009 he worked as a part time software developer at the MEC Electronics GmbH. From 2009 to 2010 he worked as a part time employee at the Research Group Embedded Systems at the University of Applied Science Technikum Wien. From 2010 to 2013 he was participating in the MA23 funded competence team for Design and Verification Patterns for Embedded Systems (DEVPATS) at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien. Afterwards, he was a member of the "Josef Ressel Center for Verification of Embedded Computing Systems", managed by the Christian Doppler Forschungsgesellschaft (CDG). Harald Schuster left the university in Autumn 2016.
