Luka Samardzija was born in 1986 in Osijek, Croatia. After graduation at the technical secondary school in Passau, Germany, he moved to Vienna and completed the bachelor degree program in Mechatronics/Robotics at the UAS Technikum Wien. In 2009 he began the Embedded System master degree program. From 2011-2012 he worked as an employee at the Research Group Embedded Systems in the fields of Ambient Assistive Technologies.
