Fabian Rier was born in 1994 in Brixen, South Tyrol, Italy. He graduated at the Realgymnasium Bozen in 2013. In autumn 2013 he started studying Industrial and Mechanical Engineering at the Vienna University of Technology, only until 2014. In 2014 he started the bachelor program "Electronics with Smart Home and Assistive Technologies", at UAS Technikum Wien. He started working at the UAS Technikum Wien within the ViTAL project in 2017 as a student for his bachelors internship. Fabian Rier left the department in March 2020.
