Christof Kutschera was born in 1979 in Portsmouth/Great Britain. From 2000 to 2002 he worked for the company ARRI Austria GmbH as electronics developer. He was responsible for designing hardware belonging to projects concerned with developing new movie camera equipment. Then he studied electronics at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien (UAS) and graduated in 2005. During his study he worked for the company LEM-NORMA GmbH performing studies about optimizing the data throughput in LEM-NORMA measurement instruments. In September 2005 he joined the UAS as part of the COMPASS project team until Sept. 2007. The COMPASS (Component Based Automotive System Software) project was accomplished in cooperation between the UAS, the University of Technology Vienna and the company DECOMSYS GmbH. Afterwards he was engaged in the "Competence Team for Test and Verification of Dependable Systems" and the "AC Centrope II" project. He left the Research Group Embedded Systems in 2012.
