Johannes V. Gragger received the Dipl. Ing. (FH) degree in electronic engineering from the University of Applied Sciences (UAS), Technikum Wien, Vienna, Austria, in 2003, and the M.Sc. degrees in industrial electronics and international business engineering from Technikum Wien in 2008 and 2009, respectively.

In 2004 he joined the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT) where in 2013, he was appointed as the Thematic Coordinator of the Power Electronics Research Group. In 2018 Mr. Gragger joined Siemens Mobility Austria GmbH as a metro propulsion system engineer. Since 2021 he is the head of the Competence Field Power Electronics and Control in University of Applied Sciences, Technikum Wien. Mr. Gragger has been actively involved in management as well as technical execution of several funded research projects on European and national scale.
