Michael Biack was born in 1970 in Vienna. He studied technical physics at the Vienna University of Technology. He became a staff member of the Research Group Embedded Systems in September 2005. Before joining the Technikum Wien he held the position of a freelance Development Engineer at AMiP, Lower Austria, a company for measurement engineering and industrial processes. His responsibilities included development and testing of an industrial high-frequency application for Berndorf Band AG, Lower Austria. In 2003-2004 he worked as Test Development Engineer for Goodyear, Luxembourg, and developed advanced research applications in the field of viscoelasticy of rubber compounds for tyre production (dynamic material testing). From 1993 to 2003 he was freelance IT specialist at Computel, Vienna, a telecommunication service provider.
Michael Biack left the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien in 2006.
