David Seyser completed his apprenticeship in mechanical engineering from 2015 to 2019. Following this apprenticeship, he advanced to the role of a mechanical engineer specializing in repairs and maintenance, where he learned his practical expertise in troubleshooting complex machinery and ensuring 24/7 operational reliability until 2021.
In 2021, he enrolled at UAS Technikum Wien, studying Mechatronics / Robotics. During his studies, he continued to contribute to his former employer by assisting in the training and mentoring of new apprentices, sharing knowledge and teaching the next generation of engineers until 2024.
Since 2025, he has been employed at UAS Technikum Wien's competence centre for digital manufacturing, automation, and robotics. In addition to teaching and supporting students in practical labs, he is actively involved in contributing to research focused on smart agriculture and vertical farming.
Since November 2025, David Seyser has been a Junior Lecturer/Researcher he is part of the project Stadt Wien Kompetenzteam für Drohnentechnik in der Fachhochschulausbildung, dedicated to integrating uncrewed ground and air vehicles into UAS Technikum's study programs.
